Introducing Zab

Hello there! I'm Zach, an American bookworm. I'm also happy to be the Zab half of Kray and Zab. She and I met on our Crew team and we've been the best of friends ever since. One of the many things that we've bonded over has been our love of reading and now we have a blog to share that love with anyone who'd like to listen.

I've lived all over North America including Connecticut, Washington, New York, and British Columbia, Canada. I once again call Connecticut home and I'm living only a few minutes away from my childhood home.

My first real reading experience was with the Harry Potter series and it has held a special place in my heart ever since. These days I still enjoy a good young adult novel every now and then but I've also expanded my horizons to include everything from science fiction to historical fiction. The fantasy genre holds an especially loving place in my heart so if the book features a dragon then I probably want to read it. Some of my all-time favorites include the Harry Potter series, The Dragonlance Chronicles, The Hot Zone, and Interview with the Vampire.

Like Kray, I also find myself dabbling in the classics now and then. The classics that have been most memorable for me have been Frankenstein, Dracula, and The Old Man and the Sea. Sometimes the classics can be a little on the dry side, and by no means does "classic" necessarily mean "good", but you don't know what you'll like until you give it a try!

I do a little writing of my own but due to a pretty hectic schedule I haven't really been able to finish more than a few pieces. By posting some thoughts and reviews about the books I read I'll get to keep my writing muscles strong while also having a ton of fun with Kray. I hope you find plenty of enjoyment here or at least find yourself some new books to read!
